Born and raised in Los Angeles, Gabriela attended Mason Gross School of the Arts at Rutgers University in New Brunswick, NJ where she obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Dance. During this time, she lived in London for her entire Junior Year studying abroad at the Trinity Laban Conservatory of Music and Dance. Upon graduation, she immediately moved to New York City and worked with choreographers Randy James, Nathaniel Hunt, Jason Fowler, Shawn Rawls, Amy Gardner, Gregory Dolbashian and Guanglei Hui, to name a few.
Having worked in the film industry at a very young age, Gabriela has become well acquainted both in front of and behind the camera. Post graduation, she merged her love for movement and film by collaborating on several dance films and music videos between both Los Angeles and New York.
She enjoys being happy and healthy and wants to get more involved in the health and wellness space, as she firmly believes that movement is medicine. Diving deeper into her yoga practice the last 2 years, she is inspired to expand her knowledge on breath work and meditation. She obtained her Pilates Mat Certification and is currently in the middle of her 200 Hr RYT Teacher Training Program with Yoga Alliance online.
Gabriela looks forward to pushing the boundary between fashion, film and fitness and having a creative outlet to showcase the above.
